Ready to go
It is June 2009 - most people spend their lunch breaks sitting on park benches enjoying the sunshine, while afternoons and evenings are spent at barbecues with friends and family, in the beer garden or at the lido. Everything is full of life; it is a season for all senses. Nonetheless, something is different this summer: we are restless, have the feeling that we have not arrived anywhere yet. Something drives us, something that seems so big and important, that we do not even realise how great the weather is outside. We are businesspeople who have already worked successfully in a large variety of industries; whether business and marketing, arts or culture. For quite a while our minds have been occupied by one single thought: "we are going to create something completely new!"
This year, 2009, also witnessed the worldwide financial crisis crashing down on us. This event nothing but amplified our inner voices, so that, instead of enjoying the sunshine in parks or at a beach far away, we are looking for answers to this one question that has been nagging us: "what should this 'innovation' look like?" The product concept is clear, but with which products are we going to start, and how should they be sold and marketed? We find new approaches, only to discard them again. Sometimes we feel like we are looking for the elusive Philosopher's Stone. At least one thing was certain from the beginning on: "Made in Germany - from the development down to the final touches of the production, and all of this at reasonable prices; that's what we want! Consumers want transparency, people want to know exactly what their products are made of. Natural ingredients, which can be traced back to their exact origins, are becoming more and more important!" We are looking for something that really satisfies the needs of people these days - not least financially: "people should share in the success of a company - this has been demanded time and time again. We want to involve people, give them what they need in order to gain recognition and achieve financial as well as personal wealth."
It was set to be an innovative and sustainable concept, and our ideas brewed together for a whole summer. Well, actually it wasn't all that dramatic: ground-breaking ideas and thoughts are easy to share with others - not only over a cup of coffee at the office, but also occasionally at the local beer garden with its famous german ice-cold beer :).
We wish you all a successful year 2010!
